Halloween festivities are just about two months away for those who celebrate, but Disney Parks have already begun at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort! Whether you have your Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets ready to go or are celebrating at home this year without a theme park, it’s time to generate ideas for Disney Halloween costumes!
The following costumes are 100% Disney recognizable and totally outside-the-box ideas for a two-person costume. As far as Disney Princess Costumes go, I’m sure they’ll be enough Ariels and Jasmines for every party. Feel free to enlist your kids, best friend, roommate, sibling, or significant other to buy, craft, or even gender-bend these unique Disney character costumes!

Pain and Panic are two of Disney’s most lovable, bumbling, evil henchmen. Remember when Hades is moving heaven and earth to get rid of Hercules while Pain and Panic wear Herc’s merchandise? Classic.
Here’s your catchphrase: “We are Worms!”

Here’s a fun twist on the totally recognizable Queen of Hearts. Instead of Dressing up as playing cards with your boo, interpret the costume with a Disney lens. The King of Hearts is so wildly different from the Queen, and that dynamic makes for a fun Halloween!

Ray’s love story with Evangeline brought tears to Princess Tiana‘s eyes, and your unexpected Disney costume will do the same – in a good way! Is there someone in your duo who loves to dress up? Perfect, they can be Ray! Does the other prefer to do something easier and more low-key? Hello Evangeline-star-costume!
No one else will think to go out as this Disney couple!

Anastasia (pink dress) and Drizella (green dress) are two of the most obnoxious flanks of any Disney villain, but they are also some of the most fun. Have you ever seen the Tremaine sisters interact with Guests at a Disney Park? That could literally be you this Halloween. Let your evil and wicked stepsister side out!

Ok, this combo may seem a little random, but it’s a simple way to take two familiar animals, a monkey and a parrot, and throw a little Disney pixie dust in there. Abu and Iago, sidekicks of the hero and the villain, respectively, are always at odds and have big personalities for you to assume at the party you’ll be attending. Disney costuming made simple.

This one is a throwback for some of our vintage Disney lovers! Roger and Anita’s outfits are relatively easy and comfortable costumes to pull off. You may need to invest in a Dalmatian stuffed animal or two, but you certainly won’t need as many as a hundred and one for people to get it. Bonus points if you own a real Dalmatian dog!

Lastly, a fun Disney channel costume idea to mix up your options. Phineas and Ferb are well-known, wear simple clothes, and have vibrantly colored hair to add some flare to your 2023 Halloween look. If you’d rather be Perry the Platypus and Agent P instead, I would totally understand.
Did any of these unexpected Disney Halloween costumes spark who you might dress as this year? We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
